01Who we are

Arcana Payments is our branded checkout and billing platform, operated by Arcana Operations LLC, a company organized in Oregon, under the same legal entity and EIN. “Arcana,” “we,” or “us” means Arcana Operations LLC. “You” means the client paying an Arcana Operations invoice or checkout.

If you pay on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

02What you are paying for

Every invoice and checkout on Arcana Payments is for services provided by Arcana Operations LLC, as described on the invoice. The services themselves are governed by the proposal, statement of work or other agreement between you and Arcana Operations. These terms cover paying through the checkout. If they conflict with a signed agreement between us, the signed agreement controls.

03How payments are processed

• Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank account. These payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe processes payments exclusively for our own customers purchasing Arcana Operations services. The charge appears on your statement as Arcana Payments.
• Zelle or crypto wallet. Where an invoice offers them, you send the payment directly to Arcana Operations. A crypto payment is a transfer on a public blockchain and is final once it is confirmed.

Your invoice shows the ways to pay that are available for it. Amounts are in US dollars unless the invoice says otherwise.

04Receipts and records

When a payment goes through, we email a receipt to the address on the invoice with the amount, the date and a transaction ID. Keep it for your records. Invoice and payment links are private to you; please do not share them.

05Refunds and disputes

Refunds are handled directly by Arcana Operations under your services agreement. If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. See our Refund & Dispute Policy.

06Using the checkout

• Use the checkout only to pay invoices and checkouts issued to you by Arcana Operations.
• Do not attempt to access another client's invoice, interfere with the checkout, or bypass its security.
• Give accurate payment and contact details.

07Availability

We work to keep the checkout available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If you cannot complete a payment, email us and we will help or offer another way to pay.

08Disclaimers

The checkout is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Warranties for the services you purchase, if any, are set out in your agreement with Arcana Operations.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcana will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising out of your use of the checkout. Nothing here limits any obligation we have under a signed agreement with you or any non-waivable right you have by law.

10Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. The terms in effect when you make a payment apply to that payment.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a signed agreement between us provides otherwise.
